Willow Creek Ranch
Nestled at the base of Willow Creek canyon in the Wind River mountain range, the horses here are no strangers to what's outside of an arena
The ranch offers endless opportunities to make outstanding horses. For the foals who are born and raised on the ranch, they learn at a very early age to be sure footed as they navigate the rocks and sagebrush. The older horses that go up the canyon to check on cows are exposed to a wide variety of wildlife, creek crossings, steep terrain and are used to gather, doctor and sort cattle on the mountain. Allowing the horses to think on their own and navigate new situations produces confident horses that are not afraid of unfamiliar experiences.
